HOW SENTINEL TOUCH™ WORKS

CHEMICAL DETECTION — BUILT DIRECTLY INTO THE GLOVE

Sentinel Touch™ transforms a disposable nitrile glove into a wearable presumptive chemical-screening platform.

Each designated fingertip contains an integrated sensing zone engineered to recognize a specific target substance and produce a visible color response when that target interacts with the detection surface.

The underlying detection technology uses proprietary analyte-selective chemistry incorporated into a protected sensing structure on the glove. The sensing zones are designed to remain localized to their assigned fingertips while allowing the target substance to interact with the detection interface.

No electronic reader is required.

No separate test strip is required.

The result is designed to be visible directly on the glove.

HOW DETECTION OCCURS

1. CONTACT

A designated sensing fingertip comes into contact with a suspected substance, residue, liquid, or surface within the glove's validated applications.

2. SELECTIVE RECOGNITION

The fingertip sensing zone contains proprietary recognition chemistry engineered to interact preferentially with its assigned target analyte.

3. COLORIMETRIC RESPONSE

When sufficient target analyte is present, the interaction produces a change in the optical state of the sensing zone, creating a visible color indication.

4. PRESUMPTIVE RESULT

The resulting color provides the wearer with an immediate presumptive screening indication directly at the point of contact.

4-PANEL DETECTION SYSTEM

Each detection finger performs an independent screening function:

INDEX FINGER
Fentanyl
Target Cutoff: 10 ng/mL
Positive Indicator: PURPLE

MIDDLE FINGER
Carfentanil
Target Cutoff: 50 ng/mL
Positive Indicator: ORANGE

RING FINGER
Xylazine
Target Cutoff: 25 ng/mL
Positive Indicator: YELLOW

PINKY FINGER
Medetomidine
Target Cutoff: 100 ng/mL
Positive Indicator: RED

Standard nitrile glove surface — no detection panel.

ONE GLOVE. FOUR INDEPENDENT DETECTION ZONES.

The four sensing zones operate independently. A response on one fingertip does not require activation of the other detection zones.

This allows a single Sentinel Touch™ 4-Panel glove to presumptively screen for four different high-risk substances while preserving separate, visually identifiable detection results.

WHY COLORIMETRIC DETECTION?

Colorimetric sensing converts a chemical recognition event into a visible optical change.

For field personnel, that means the detection result can be interpreted visually without requiring a powered instrument, external reader, or separate electronic device.

The objective is straightforward:

CONTACT → RECOGNITION → COLOR CHANGE → PRESUMPTIVE INDICATION

PROTECTED SENSOR ARCHITECTURE

The detection zones are being engineered as integrated fingertip structures rather than loose or externally attached test strips.

The sensor architecture is designed to:

• Maintain adhesion during normal glove movement and flexing
• Keep the active sensing region localized to the designated fingertip
• Protect the sensing system during storage and normal handling
• Permit interaction between the target analyte and detection interface
• Preserve normal glove flexibility and usability
• Produce a clearly visible result at the point of screening

PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY

Sentinel Touch™ utilizes proprietary sensing chemistry, material integration, manufacturing processes, stabilization methods, and sensor architecture.

To protect the intellectual property and integrity of the technology, specific reagent compositions, recognition elements, concentrations, layer structures, manufacturing processes, and chemical reaction mechanisms are not publicly disclosed.

IMPORTANT

Sentinel Touch™ is being developed as a presumptive field-screening technology.

A positive color indication is a presumptive screening result and should not be treated as definitive laboratory identification.

A negative result does not establish that a substance or surface is free from the target analyte or otherwise safe to handle.

Users should continue to follow all applicable PPE, hazardous-material handling, workplace-safety, evidence-handling, and agency procedures.

Target detection cutoffs and final commercial performance specifications remain subject to validation of the production glove.
